If you are approved for care through TLN, your service is completely covered for you and baby.  You never pay a dime for care.  *You may be charged separate travel or cancelation fees.

Aetna states that mothers can have 6 covered visits.  This may not include all lactation counseling services for mom and baby.  Some cost sharing may be applied including deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance, or denial of care. We can help you understand your benefits and what is covered.

The Affordable Healthcare Act requires insurance companies to pay for lactation services, some do not always honor it.  Insurance companies make their own rules. Some cost sharing may be applied including deductibles, co-pays, coinsurance, or denial of care. 

Unfortunately Anthem BCBS no longer contracts with The Lactation Network leaving thousands of lactating parents without care.  I am currently working on solutions for clients with BCBS.  Please email me at cary@lactationarts.com for self pay rates or affordable alternatives.
