I am an RN and IBCLC lactation consultant with over 25 years experience in labor and delivery, pediatrics, NICU, medical/surgical, maternal newborn nursing, and lactation consulting. I have been an IBCLC-International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2011. I am a published author of lactation and birth education materials for families. I served as team leader and expert lecturer on Implementing the Baby Friendly/Virginia Breastfeeding Friendly Hospital Initiative. I am a member of The United States Lactation Consultant Association and The Virginia Breastfeeding Coalition. I am a mother to two beautiful breastfed daughters

As a private practice founder and entrepreneur I provide business consulting for private practice IBCLC’s, on medical coding, create educational content to improve clinician documentation practices, and EMR/Billing software education. I author clinical/legal contracts and patient education materials; and consult on clinical documentation integrity for private practices.
