You can schedule a consultation with us by first navigating to our billing partner The Lactation Network using the QR CODE or Check My Insurance Button on the home page or Book Now Button on the Appointments page.  Once there, fill in your insurance information and answer a few simple questions.  Once approved, you will receive an email from me to get you scheduled.  cary@lactationarts.com   .  . 

Yes! we currently accept insurance through The Lactation Network for major PPO Insurance plans like Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and many more.

If your insurance is not included in their network, we accept direct payments and I will provide you with a superbill/receipt to file with your insurance.  Although the Affordable Healthcare Act requires companies to pay for lactation services, some do not always honor it.

Yes I accept direct payment at the time of service.  Services are billed according to fair market rates and insurance reimbursement rates. Be aware that lactation consulting is a professional healthcare service and billed according to the complexity of each case. While there is an up front cost, lactation services cost significantly less than cumulative months of formula, and offer lifelong benefits to baby and the lactating parent.

I am sorry at this time I cannot offer a sliding scale.  Services are billed according to fair market rates and insurance reimbursement rates.  If you need to see someone I may be able to connect you to other resources that provide free or discounted help.
